A candlelit vigil is to be held next to Highbridge’s Frank Foley Statue today (Wednesday November 16th )
during an event to encourage different faith traditions.

The vigil at 7pm will be held as part of the UK’s nationwide National Interfaith week.

“In recognition of this, and in the hope of standing for unity amidst the diversity of faith communities, Reverend Simon Bale and I will be at the Frank Foley statue in Markey Street to keep a candlelit vigil for interfaith understanding and mark unity,” said Reverend Sharon Eldergill.

“Whilst this is not an official event, we would be delighted if people would like to bring along a candle and join in.”
