Mystery over cannabis plants dumped in road layby near Burnham

Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for information after several cannabis plants were found dumped in a road layby.

Police were called to Wick Lane between Burnham and Lympsham this week where the plants had been discarded.

"We found six cannabis plants - one mature plant and five smaller ones - dumped besides the road layby," a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"The plants have been seized and destroyed, but we are interested to know how the plants got there."

"Anyone with information should get in contact via the non-emergency police number 101."
