Fresh police plea after vandals attack Burnham-On-Sea charity shops

-

Burnham-On-Sea Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses after two charity shops in the town centre had windows smashed by vandals.

As we first reported at the weekend, the RNLI shop and The Children’s Society shop – both in Burnham’s High Street – had their front windows smashed by vandals during the early hours of Saturday morning (June 25th).

Neither shop had anything stolen, but the two charities face expensive bills for repairs.

Burnham-On-Sea Police have issued a fresh appeal for anyone with information about how the damage took place to contact them.

Spokesman Wayne Baker said: “Anyone with information should call us on 101 and quote the crime reference number 5216 138 838.”
