Burnham-On-Sea fire crew rescues two-year-old boy locked in car

-

Burnham-On-Sea firefighters rescued a young child locked in a car on Saturday evening (February 13th).

The Fire Service received a report of a two year-old boy locked in a Vauxhall Astra at the Tesco car park in Ben Travers Way at 6.15pm after the parents had accidentally left the keys on the car seat.

A fire engine from Burnham was sent to the scene, as pictured here.

“Upon arrival, crews confirmed the child was locked in a car. He was not distressed,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Crews got to work using small tools and at 6.42pm crews confirmed the child had been released unharmned.”
