Burnham-On-Sea town centre cafe gets new owners and a new name

-

A popular Burnham-On-Sea cafe has new owners and a new name this week.

The new-look Coffee Corner Company has opened on the corner of Abingdon Street and Marine Drive, replacing the former cafe there.

New owners Fran Stockwell and Zena Driver, pictured, say they are excited to be taking over the business.

Fran, who has lived in Burnham for over 10 years, said: “We plan to use local ingredients wherever possible and to make this the best cafe in Burnham.”

“We’ve launched our brand new menu with quality coffees, delicious breakfasts, lunches and snacks, plus a great range of fresh cakes.”

“We’ve already extended the opening hours and are open 10-5 on weekdays and 9-5 at weekends – with roasts available on Sundays.”

“We also plan to hold theme nights when speciality food will be offered, and we are also going to offer outside catering in the future for parties and occasions.”

“We are hoping to turn it into a real community hub and are inviting local artists to sell their art on the walls to bring added colour to the cafe.”
