Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens on the town’s seafront have been given a fresh new look this month.

The shelters on The Esplanade have been repainted by council contractors alongside work to smarten up the light columns and gates.

A Sedgemoor District Council spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The shelters take a fair battering from the weather, so they have been painted as part of our rolling maintenance programme.”
