Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre is set to hold a special evening with the hit sixties group The Dreamers this Friday (13th May).

The band – Alan Mosca, Bryan Byng, Colin Temple and Steve Temple – have been members of the Dreamers for over 37 years.

Their pedigree speaks for itself, having been part of Freddie and the Dreamers and members of the band that contained a true superstar of the Sixties, Freddie Garrity. They toured, along with Freddie, many countries, including Australia, The Middle East and Europe.

Mosca and Byng were on the second British Invasion tour of America along with The Searchers and Gerry and The Pacemakers and of course Freddie and The Dreamers.

They appeared many times on TV shows both home and abroad including Cilla’s Surprise Surprise, Noel Edmunds’ Houseparty and Australian TV shows.

The Dreamers were part of The Original Sensational Sixties Experience Show, one of the most successful touring shows in the UK.

The Dreamers regularly topped the bill at Butlins holiday centres for over 20 years, a record they are very proud of, and have been regular headliners for Warner’s, one of the most prestigious engagements on the sixties circuit.

Tickets cost £20 each and concessions are £18. The Box Office is open on 01278 784464. The show will start at 7.30pm.
