Warning issued after ducks are killed in ‘sickening attack’ in Brean

-

Four ducks have been killed by a knife-wielding intruder in a “sickening attack” at a Brean holiday park, say staff.

The managers at Lazy Days Caravan Park in South Road were shocked to find the birds had been killed over the weekend.

A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It really was horrendous and sickening to find they had been killed deliberately.”

“We have been shaken up by the whole thing and want to warn other animal owners in the area to be extra vigilant.”

“We’ve owned the four ducks as an attraction at the park for the past four years and they’ve always been greatly liked.”

“We’re confident it wasn’t a fox or other animal – there were no signs of any struggle.”
