Dozens of colourful blooms are filling a tiny church on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea this weekend.

Edithmead Church is holding its popular annual flower festival on Saturday and Sunday (July 16th and 17th).

The tiny church is open to the public 11am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-4.30pm on Sunday with a Songs of Praise service planned at 7pm on Sunday evening.

“Everyone is very welcome to come along and see the floral arrangements,” said a spokesperson.

This year’s theme is red, white and blue. Teas and cakes will also be sold, raising cash for the church’s upkeep.
