Your photos: Thick fog creates stunning scenes in Burnham-On-Sea

Thick fog and freezing temperatures created these calm scenes in Burnham-On-Sea this week.

Burnham-On-Sea.com reader Jonny Butler took the stunning photo above of the town's beach lighthouse at high tide on Thursday morning, emerging out of the fog.

And Margaret Micklewright took these super images of the River Brue on Thursday.

Overnight temperatures sank below freezing, leaving a coating of ice across the Burnham-On-Sea area, along with a layer of thick fog.

Forecasters say the calm weather is set to be replaced by a return to windy and wet conditions over the next few days as more storms move in from the Atlantic.
