Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge see icy start to December
in the Burnham-On-Sea area faced a bracing start to December this
week with sub-zero temperatures and freezing fog.
on Thursday (December 1st) plummeted to -4.9°C at 5am and did
not rise higher than -0.2°C all day, according to a weather
station in Brent Knoll. On Wednesday it was even colder when a temperature
of -5.7°C was recorded.

weather is forecast to be slightly milder over the coming days before
another cold snap next week. It's the coldest start to winter since
2010 when the Burnham area saw heavy snowfall.
