BBC Radio 4 is to record two episodes of its popular ‘Gardeners Question Time’ programme at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Monday November 14th.

Princess Theatre Manager Sam Nichol told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I wrote applying for Gardeners Question Time way back in January 2015 and am delighted that they have come to us.”

“I am very excited to have this event in The Princess, the sound engineer who came to check out the venue complemented the building on great acoustics and facilities for the team.”

“Since publicising the event I have learned that they have, in fact been here previously and the evening coincides with some milestone anniversaries for our local Horticultural Society.”

Audience members will be able to submit their questions as they arrive for the producers to select the ones that will be read on air. I am assured that the panel genuinely have no prior knowledge of the questions.

Tickets are available now from the Box Office on 01278 784466 on a strictly ‘first come first served’ basis.

“We are limiting each sale to just 20 to hopefully allow as many groups and individuals to be represented as possible. Tickets cost just £3 and include a drink,” added Sam.

The Box Office is open 10am – 3pm Tues – Fri and 10am – 1pm on a Saturday. Pop in for your tickets and enjoy a cup of coffee and a look at the theatre’s art.
