Burnham-On-Sea’s Cornish pilot gig rowing team is to hold an open day on Saturday for those interested in joining the club to find out more.
The team – called BOS Pilot Gigs – is organising the event between 11am and 2pm at the Burnham-On-Sea Motorboat and Sailing Club this Saturday (23rd April).
“There will be a display of what we have been doing, and a chance to have a look at our gig, the Jayne Campbell,” said the club’s Simon Eastham.
“Visitors will also be able to find out how to join in, and hear about about our plans for the future. Come along and get involved in the fastest-growing water sport in the UK.”
