Highbridge pub to open new facilities this week after community project

-

A Highbridge pub is set to formally open a new functional room and skittle alley this week.

The Globe Inn in Newtown Road is holding a special launch party to mark the opening this Friday (12th February) from 8pm.

“The pub has been doing a project build of a function room and skittle alley since the beginning of last year,” said a spokesperson.

“The amazing project would not have happened without a great deal of hard work of the owners, locals and local suppliers.”

“This week’s long-awaited opening will see live music from local entertainers Tim Pitman and Breeze.”

“All the locals would like to wish the owners all the best with the new function room and a massive well done for all there hard work.”

There will also be a free buffet for the evening and the bar will be open late.
