Burnham-On-Sea carnival club gets cash boost from Highbridge group

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club has been given a cash boost towards the costs of constructing a new shed to build its carnival float this year.

The Ladies Group at St John’s Church in Highbridge has donated £250 towards the carnival club’s building project.

Hillview’s Duncan Britton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The group wanted to donate money to a children’s group in Burnham or Highbridge and we’re delighted they picked us.”

“The donation is superb and will really help towards the work of creating a new shed to build our carnival entry later in the year.”

Hillview’s Luke Clarke and Duncan Britton are pictured receiving the donation from the Highbridge group this week.
