Tenant at Homes In Sedgemoor is picked as group’s new Chairman

-

A Homes In Sedgemoor tenant has become the new Chairman of the Board at Homes in Sedgemoor.

It comes after there were several resignations from the Board last autumn, as we reported here.

Members of Sedgemoor District Council discussed the options available, and consulted with the tenants of Homes in Sedgemoor. It was pledged that “tenants would be at the heart of the organisation.”

Since then, there has been an interim Board, but now a new Board has been put in place with Chris Moseley, a tenant from the northern part of Sedgemoor, being voted in as Chair at the first meeting.

Kerry Rickards, joint chief Executive of Sedgemoor District Council and Homes in Sedgemoor, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I am delighted that the Board unanimously elected Chris Moseley who is a long-standing tenant and knows the area and is a very experienced individual.”

“The team at Homes in Sedgemoor really look forward to working with him on Homes in Sedgemoor’s bright future.”

“The Board will make sure that Homes in Sedgemoor and Sedgemoor District Council continue to deliver a quality housing service.”
