Four people trapped in lift rescued by Burnham-On-Sea fire crew

Four people have been rescued by Burnham-On-Sea's fire crew after getting stuck in a lift on Friday evening (September 2nd).

A fire crew was called at 7.45pm to a building on The Esplande where four people were trapped.

Crews confirmed the lift was stuck between the first and second floors of the property and then used a ladder and a lift key to rescue the people inside.

A spokesman said the four people were released unharmed.
