These was the scene at Burnham-On-Sea’s M5 motorway junction on Sunday evening (July 3rd) following a three-vehicle accident.

The fire service were called to the northbound carriageway entry sliproad at junction 22 at Burnham shortly before 8pm.

Fire crews from Bridgwater and Burnham-On-Sea were called to the incident, involving three vehicles.

A spokesman said that all the occupants were free and clear of the vehicles, with no serious injuries reported.

The incident caused long delays to motorists travelling between junctions 23 for Bridgwater North and junction 22 at Burnham-On-Sea.
