A Berrow artist’s unique take on the world of art is set to go on display when he holds a Spring exhibition in Burnham-On-Sea.

Malcolm Dormer’s colourful animal artwork will go on show at The Princess Theatre’s Art Cafe in Princess Street, Burnham-On-Sea from May 14th until June 4th.

Called ‘Grand Slamb’, his exhibition will feature a range of amusing scenes with sheep and other animals.

He is pictured here with his French Open contribution ‘Love All’. Another notable painting features tennis and is called the ‘Wimbledon Championsheeps’.

Also features spectators from the Australian and American ‘Grand Slambs’.

Malcolm plans each painting meticulously for many hours, before starting to paint and painting takes between 6-8 weeks to complete.

He is also responsible for painting the murals on the Berrow bus shelters, as we reported here in 2011, and two of his huge masterpieces are hung at Berrow village hall, being a compendium of Berrow scenes.
