man found 'safe and well' after big search by Burnham crews
multi-agency search was called off on Monday after a missing man
was found safely following a huge operation involving Burnham-On-Sea
Coastguards, Police, hovercraft and lifeboat crews.

Coastguards and crewmembers from BARB Search & Rescue were called
out just after 9pm last night to carry out a foot search of the
shoreline along the Steart peninsula and nearby Parrett estuary.
RNLI lifeboats were also launched from Burnham to search the river
banks and tideline towards Hinkley Point.
a set of footprints was spotted in the mud of the river, the Coastguard
helicopter was also flown in to scour the area - but without any
sign of the missing man being found.
were stood down at 2am and investigations continued on Monday morning.
