Burnham-On-Sea Moose International’s Lodge has received their new charter this week.

At the Moose National Convention held in Port Talbot, nineteen attending delegates were presented with their new charters – reflecting a new procedure by which British lodges are now chartered directly from the Supreme Lodge in America.

Burnham-On-Sea Lodge 123 Governor Ron Fisher was on hand to receive the group’s charter, and at Thursday evening’s lodge meeting, Ron presented the newly framed certificate to the members.

Local Moose spokesman Mike Lang said: “As part of a massive re-organization in British Moose, our national charter was revoked, to be replaced by direct chartering from Supreme Lodge in America. We have a busy local lodge, organize lots of social events and all are welcome to join.”
