Moose Lodge receives new charter from America
Moose Internationals Lodge has received their new charter
At the Moose National Convention held in Port Talbot, nineteen
attending delegates were presented with their new charters - reflecting
a new procedure by which British lodges are now chartered directly
from the Supreme Lodge in America.
Lodge 123 Governor Ron Fisher was on hand to receive the group's
charter, and at Thursday evenings lodge meeting, Ron presented
the newly framed certificate to the members.
Moose spokesman Mike Lang said: "As part of a massive re-organization
in British Moose, our national charter was revoked, to be replaced
by direct chartering from Supreme Lodge in America. We have a
busy local lodge, organize lots of social events and all are welcome
