nears for Burnham-On-Sea poetry competition entries
wordsmiths are being asked to put their creative writing skills
to the test and enter a poetry competition being run by an opticians
in the town to mark World Poetry Day.
in Burnham High Street is looking for poems not longer than 250
words and based around the theme of eyes and sight.
winner in the adult category (over 12 years) will receive a voucher
for £200 to spend in store while a runner up will receive
£150 to choose a pair of frames of their choice.
will also be up for grabs in the childrens category with
first, second and third prizes awarded.
closing date is Monday 4th April when entries need to be placed
in the box in-store. The winners will be announced on Monday 11th
