A new cafe and coffee shop offering a wide range of smoothies, drinks and food opens in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (April 9th).

Relish has launched in College Street in place of The Windrose restaurant and its owner, Craig Peters, says he aims to provide Burnham with something different.

Craig told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are offering a great selection of sandwiches and pannins plus fresh crepes, Belgian waffles, fresh cakes and a selection of main meals, hot and cold drinks including fruit and vegatable smoothies, all to eat in or take away.”

Craig, who previously ran Daintea Cafe in Cross Street, added: “I managed to secure a local investor who has helped me to move to these bigger premises, rebrand and change our menu completely. Relish is a brand new entity – something new.”

Relish is open from 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Sunday with 16 outdoor seats and 40 indoor seats. It hopes to open in the evenings as a steak and burger house in a few weeks’ time.
