Strong southerly winds created these eye-catching scenes on beaches in the Burnham-On-Sea area at the weekend – but hot weather is set to arrive over the next 24 hours.
A Burnham-On-Sea.com reader captured the footage of large quantities of sand swirling along the beach near the Berrow wreck.
Forecasters are predicting warm, calm conditions for the Burnham-On-Sea area this week with temperatures expected to reach 23ºC (73ºF) by mid-week, according to the Met Office.
