Burnham-On-Sea event held to mark special needs club's anniversary

A community group that helps families in the Burnham-On-Sea area who have children with special needs celebrated its second anniversary with a special event at the weekend.

Somerset Time For Youth, which is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation, held a successful fundraising event at Burnham's Baptist Church on Saturday (April 23rd).

The event included children's entertainment, a photo exhibition, craft stalls and refreshments plus more.

"We had a great day, with a steady flow of visitors through the afternoon. Our thanks go to everyone who supported us," said a spokeswoman.

Somerset Time For Youth runs sessions every other Saturday morning, from 10.30am – 1pm at the Balliol Hall in West Huntspill for families with children with special needs.

The club welcomes new members and if you are interested in attending the club you can contact them, by phone on 07745 236 742, or online.
