youngster hopes to raise charity cash by losing hair
Burnham-On-Sea youngster is raising funds for charity by having
several inches of her hair cut for charity.
Greenwood, 7, from St Andrew's School in Burnham, decided she'd
like her hair cut short to raise funds for the Little Princess
Trust, which donates wigs to children who have lost their hair
mum Sarah told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Sophie has watched lots
of videos of little girls who have their hair cut for the trust,
and has made up her mind she wants to do it too."
is having eight inches cut off to send to the charity in Burnham.
She'd like to raise £350 which is needed to help fund the
cost of making the wig."
was born with Craniosynostosis, a rare disease where the skull
fuses in pregnancy, and has had several major surgeries at Great
Ormond Street to correct this. She is a very strong minded girl."
