The Optician Awards – organised by national trade magazine, Optician – have been running for more than 15 years and recognise the work of opticians across the UK in 16 categories. The awards evening will also play host to several fundraising events, raising money for Blind Veterans UK.

In the community category, judges will be looking for a practice that is offering enhanced services and primary eye care in its community, something the store prides itself on, while Rama has been nominated thanks to his work helping to enhance the lives of patients, colleagues and the community.
