Police appeal for witnesses after pedestrian hurt in Brean van crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash in which a pedestrian was hurt in Brean on Tuesday afternoon (August 23rd).

A white Peugeot Expert van and a female pedestrian were involved in the collision in Coast Road, Brean.

“Police were called to a collision in Coast Road at 12.45pm on Tuesday where a van and a female pedestrian had collided,” police spokesman Scott McPherson told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The lady suffered several injuries, which were not thought to be serious, and went to hospital as a precaution.”

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would ask any witnesses to get in contact with us via 101, quoting the incident reference number 488.”
