Burnham-On-Sea Wine Club is to hold a special event this month to help local wine enthusiasts get their bottle racks ready for the festive season.
The pre-Christmas tasting session will be held at 6.30pm on Saturday 19th November for those who are looking for the ideal tipples for Christmas.
The two and half-hour tasting session will see visitors tasting eight wines, accompanied by some local bread and cheeses.
Host Sarah Milner Simonds, who is WSET qualified, explained that the evening is ideal for those wanting to learn more about wine, including those seeking an informal and informative introduction to wine tasting.
“We are inviting people to join us and find the magic ingredients to ensure that the cook, your mother, brother or that fussy cousin are all happy, but we can’t be held responsible for your family crisis on Christmas day, please don’t call us to help!”
