Young Farmers seek new members in recruitment drive
don't have to be a farmer to become a member of Highbridge Young
the message to young people in the Burnham-On-Sea area this week

Highbridge Young Farmers Club is seeking new members and says
the cliché that Young Farmers' Clubs are only for people
from farming backgrounds is far from the truth.

part of the 24 clubs in Somerset, Highbridge YFC are seeking new
members to take part in activities such as stock judging, drama
& public speaking, county rally & handicrafts, sports
YFC is a club that are no strangers to being seen on a stage,
always getting stuck in with entertainments, pantomimes, dramas
and putting on an annual harvest supper show for parents and advisory
this, the group have dusted off their trainers and got stuck in
with sports such as hockey, football and dodgeball as well as
taking to the ski slopes of Les Arcs 1800.
added: "When it comes to a competition or challenge Highbridge
YFC do not shy away! Recently we competed at the south west area
for YFC in Weymouth representing Somerset in Junior Member of
the year, Ballroom dancing, Just a minute speaking and situations
vacant with very promising results."
Highbridge YFC are not turning their hands to on-stage events
or sport, charity is always at the top of its agenda.

Plus Campaign and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
are just a few of long list of charities that we have helped."
