Three people were hurt in a crash that closed a busy road through the Burnham-On-Sea area for several hours on Saturday afternoon.

Police closed the A370 at East Brent for over two hours, as pictured here, after a serious collision involving a car and a motorbike.

A fire service spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Two appliances from Burnham-On-Sea and a rescue tender from Taunton were sent after reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.”

“Crews assisted paramedics on scene by administering first aid to three casualties involved in the accident.”

The casualties were taken into the hands of ambulance personnel and the Police investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101.
