Burnham-On-Sea’s Victoria Hotel will be holding a special horse-racing themed charity fundraising afternoon on Thursday (June 22nd).

The hotel in Victoria Street is marking Ascot Ladies Day with a unique event while the horse racing takes place.

“We’re encouraging ladies to dress up in their finest hats and to come along and enjoy strawberries, cream and Prosecco while watching the horse racing on our big screen,” Publican Shaun McCann told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We will also be running bets to William Hill next door to add to the excitement form the first race at 2.30pm onwards.”

“It will be a fun afternoon, helping a good cause, since the funds raised will go to our charity of the year, In Charley’s Memory.”
