sought for Burnham-On-Sea beach clean this Saturday
are being sought to join in a monthly community beach clean-up in
Burnham-On-Sea this Saturday (March 11th).
event, organised by The Friends of Burnham Beach, will run from
10am-12pm and will meet at the town's Sailing Club.
group's fifth beach clean will again focus on the beach along the
mouth of the River Brue.
Mark Hollidge, who is overseeing the clean-up, said members of the
public are welcome to come along and get involved.
high tides have washed up a large amount of litter on the banks
of the river, most of it plastic, making the place look very messy."
