70 people take free blood pressure checks in Burnham-On-Sea
Rotary Club and The Stroke Association joined forces on Saturday
(April 29th) to raise awareness of one of the biggest risk factors
for stroke - high blood pressure.

at The Baptist Church Hall in Burnham's College Street, thanks to
the two groups.

is estimated that over five million people across the UK dont
realise they have the condition.
Jane Gibbs said: "Know Your Blood Pressure Day was all about
raising awareness of the link between high blood pressure and stroke.
Rotary are supporting the Stroke Association with blood pressure
events throughout April and the rest of the year."
