Burnham-On-Sea firefighters called to tackle blazing car in Brean

A car was left severely damaged following a fire in Brean last night (Tuesday).

Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to South road in Brean shortly before 8.20pm.

“A fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was mobilized to reports of a car fire on South Road in Brean,” a spokesman confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Upon arrival, crews found one car alight in a car park near to a caravan park just off South Road.”

“Crews extinguished it using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. The car was severely damaged by fire and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.”
