A special film screening at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Cinema on Monday night (October 30th) raised hundreds of pounds towards the costs of the town’s Christmas lights display.

Burnham-On-Sea Chamber of Trade organised a screening of Disney’s hit film ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Dozens of people attended, including Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress Bill and Frances Hancock, raising a total of £595 towards the display.

A meal and raffle was held at The Ritz Social Club afterwards, as pictured here.

Burnham Chamber of Trade’s Chairman John Edwards thanked all those who had attended and supported the event, plus the Ritz Cinema’s Pat and Beryl Scott, plus The Ritz Social Club’s Paul Hale.
