Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Cider and Music Festival, held at the weekend, has been hailed a success.

The festival took place from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd October at The Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street, coinciding with the Burnham-On-Sea Food Festival.

Now in its fifth year, the number of people attending the annual festival has increased year-on-year, said organisers.

General Manager Paul Hale told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were concerned about the weather this year deterring people from attending the event but this was certainly not the case.”

“We had a positive increase on numbers through the door and we sold out of all 13 ciders,” he added.

“The quality of free entertainment was superb and those attending gave us some extremely positive feedback.”

“We can confirm the event will return again in 2018 and will be an even bigger event with some acts already confirmed.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported this event.”
