crews called to vulnerable person threatening to enter sea
Coastguards and BARB volunteers were called out on Thursday (July
20th) to reports of a despondent person threatening to enter the
water from the town's jetty.
wardens, Coastguards, BARB, lifeguards and Police were all called
to the scene at 2.30pm.
spokesman said: "With concern for the persons wellbeing
paramount to all, these various services stayed in the background
and let the Police take the lead and talk to the person."

from danger and back to the safety and support of their family."
