announce Burnham and Highbridge County election candidates
Conservatives have announced their candidates who will contest seats
in the Burnham-On-Sea area in May's County Council elections.
Burridge-Clayton will run in Burnham North, John Woodman will run
in Highbridge & Burnham South, Bob Filmer will run in the Brent
seat, and Mark Healey will run in the Huntspill seat.
Filmer is a well known local resident and has a proven track record
with some 16 years experience as a district councillor.
Peter Burridge-Clayton has served as a councillor in Burnham North
for 29 years, and has experience on the Town, District and County
Councils. He has also served as Mayor of Burnham-On-Sea & Highbridge
for two terms.
John Woodman is a local man who knows and cares about both Highbridge
and Burnham, and has been behind lots of projects from a new school,
zebra crossing, over £50,000 pounds of grants to good causes.
The elections are being held on the 4th May 2017. Earlier this month,
the Lib Dems announced their local candidates, as we reported
