Tories announce Burnham and Highbridge County election candidates

Somerset Conservatives have announced their candidates who will contest seats in the Burnham-On-Sea area in May's County Council elections.

Peter Burridge-Clayton will run in Burnham North, John Woodman will run in Highbridge & Burnham South, Bob Filmer will run in the Brent seat, and Mark Healey will run in the Huntspill seat.

Bob Filmer is a well known local resident and has a proven track record with some 16 years experience as a district councillor.

Peter Burridge-Clayton has served as a councillor in Burnham North for 29 years, and has experience on the Town, District and County Councils. He has also served as Mayor of Burnham-On-Sea & Highbridge for two terms.

John Woodman is a local man who knows and cares about both Highbridge and Burnham, and has been behind lots of projects from a new school, zebra crossing, over £50,000 pounds of grants to good causes.

The elections are being held on the 4th May 2017. Earlier this month, the Lib Dems announced their local candidates, as we reported here.
