East Brent Harvest Home attracts over 400 people
400 people attended East Brent Harvest Home on Friday (August 25th).
traditional, long-running event is held every year on the last Friday
in the August.
annual event was held in a huge marquee set up in a field next to
Withy Road in the village.
the traditional harvest lunch, there were competitions, plus live
music and entertainment.
the special guests were Mary James MBE and Alan Lyons of the Royal
Bath and West Show. Burnham's former MP Tessa Munt was one of the
teams ready to parade the bread and a truckle of cheese into the

the A38 was halted to allow the procession to pass.
organisers were delighted at how the popular event had gone.
