farmers market returns to High Street today
monthly farmers market returns to the town's High Street today (Friday
June 30th) with a varied line-up of stalls.
produce stalls will be set-up, selling local produce including fruit,
local meat, vegetables, cakes, cheese, pies, bakery items and milk
to the market will also be able to visit Burnham's wide range of
shops and cafes in the town centre.
months line up includes:
Farm - grass fed, outdoor reared beef and lamb from Sarah and
Richard's family farm just outside of Burnham-on-Sea. They have
been busy making silage while the good weather held!
Country Potter - hand thrown pots, mugs, jugs and more, all made
Grown Up Marshmallows - indulgent fat free, gluten free marshmallows
Pie - handmade pies from Street in a variety of flavours, eat
them hot or cold and they are also great for freezing
Clover - grown in Somerset, bee friendly perennials and native
Pork - prize winning Gloucestershire Old Spot pork raised on the
For... - scotch eggs in a variety of tasty and award winning flavours.
Vegetarian option also available
Farm Preserves - home made jams, chutneys and traditional whole
cakes, all made by Celia
Farm Vegetables - seasonal, locally grown vegetables from Chew
Pies and Cakes - quiches, pizzas, cakes, biscuits, tarts and steamed
puddings made at the foot of the Quantock Hills
Traditional Bakers - freshly baked traditional bread and buns
from Bruton. Look out for their regular speciality breads
Past Dairy - award winning cheeses in many flavours including

he will not be at Axbridge this Saturday either, so if you need
game meat, the next market you can catch him at will be Frome on
Saturday 8th in the Cheese & Grain Hall.
