Burnham-On-Sea's food festival has been shortlisted for three awards
at the prestigious National Outdoor Events Association Awards 2017.
Festivals are finalists in the 'Event Organisers of the Year', 'PR
Campaign of the Year' and 'Small Event of the Year' categories.
Tanner, NOEAs chief executive, said: "This year saw a
50% increase in nominations across all categories for the awards
which was unprecedented. Consequently our judges had a hard job
to decide on the three or four shortlisted in each category today."
Turner, head judge and managing director of Eight PR & Marketing,
"The quality of entry has been greatly improved on previous
years and some amazing events have applied. The strength of entries
was excellent. It is a huge achievement for those shortlisted today
and we look forward to seeing who is named as winners in November."

it is fantastic to see the local food festival again recognised
