running club to hold fundraising runs and fun day
Harriers running club are holding two events to raise funds for
charity this weekend.
club is organising the Pawlett Plod 5km and 10km races on Bank Holiday
Monday, starting at 2pm, with music through the afternoon.
from Pawlett Pavilion, the runners will jog along a picturesque
coastal route next to the River Parrett before heading back through
proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK with entry on the day costing
£10 for the 10km race and £5 for the 5km race.

6.45pm Tilly and Co, 8pm Drop the Mic, 9.30pm Bouncing Biscuit.
will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, outdoor games, a tombola,
raffle, BBQ, cakes and ice creams - all in aid of Cancer Research
Saturday 26th August at 8pm, the club is holding a charity quiz
night at Pawlett British Legion for Cancer Research UK for teams
of four, £1 a head.
