Heatwave coming to an end in Burnham as cooler weather arrives

Burnham-On-Sea will see another sweltering day of weather today (Wednesday) before cooler conditions arrive tomorrow.

It comes after a Brent Knoll weather station recorded a maximum temperature of 31.2°C (88.2°F) on Tuesday afternoon (June 20th).

The Met Office says today will be hot, humid and sunny again in Burnham with temperatures of 30°C and it will stay dry for most of the day.

Tomorrow will be cooler, with temperatures falling to 18°C and clouds moving in from the west.

Beaches have been busy in the Burnham-On-Sea area over the past week as residents and visitors enjoy the conditions.
