Highbridge Christmas lights to be switched on today!

Highbridge will be holding a special event to turn on its Christmas lights today (Saturday, November 25th).

The event will start at 3pm with a Christmas Craft and Gift Fair in the Community Hall in Market Street.

At 4.30pm, the Churchfield Voices School Choir will perform songs and carols in the porch attended by Justin Philcox, the new Churchfields School head and the Deputy Mayor of Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Cllr Andy Brewer with Mrs Lorna Brewer before the switch-on itself at 5pm.

Following a performance of the Choir and speeches by Mike Murphy, Chair of Highbridge Chamber, Cllr Brewer will switch on the lights.

The craft fair will continue inside until 6 pm with refreshments and soft drinks for the children. All welcome.
