Highbridge King Alfred School students try out Cambridge Uni life

-

Sixth form students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School have enjoyed a two day visit to the University of Cambridge.

Staying overnight at Trinity Hall in order to experience undergraduate life, the students took part in several masterclasses.

They also enjoyed tours of several other colleges including King’s College, Christ’s College, Sidney Sussex College and Clare College.

“The students also received top tips on making competitive applications and preparing for the assessment and interview process,” said a spokesman.

“Following the visit the students were buzzing with excitement and ideas for their own applications for the 2018 university entry as they wish to emulate famous Cambridge students such as Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking and Burnham’s very own Bethan Marshall, who has just finished her second year reading Natural Sciences.”
