Lidl supermarket was shut today (Monday) after a vehicle crashed
into the front of the store.

Lidl staff were clearly worried about the front of the store and
stopped the customers inside leaving from the usual exit door -
they had to leave by the entrance and the shop was quickly shut
spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It caused damage to
the front of the building and the store was closed for the rest
of the day until a full structural inspection takes place,"
confirmed that an inspection of the building is due to take place
on Tuesday morning (October 10th). "We'll then be able to decide
whether we are able to open again," he said, adding that no-one
fire crews were called to the collision to 'make safe' the area.
