I have wanted to do for a few years now the challenge took
nine days, travelling over 100 miles per day, 969 miles in total."

and management of this event was excellent with a professional crew,
consisting of safety, medical, mechanical, physio, catering, and
cycling chaperone professionals, all ready to support over 800 riders."
added: "Having sadly lost a good friend and knowing others
who are suffering with cancer I rode this in support of Cancer Research
this was the most fantastic way to see the uk, the weather and conditions
were against us. The majority of the days were spent in strong head
winds and rain."
also made base camp conditions very tough. This event is certainly
not for the faint-hearted."
many occasions I wanted to give up for various reasons, now I have
completed the trip I feel a real sense of achievement. I'm so proud
and feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to have cycled
with such amazing people."
really looked after each other all the way. I am also very greatful
for all the support from friends with transportation, training,
and preparation for the event."
like so many other riders who took part in this event the the real
motivation was to raise as much money as possible for charity."
