Parish Council Clerk steps down after 15 years in the role
clerk of Berrow Parish Council is stepping down after 15 years in
the role, it has been announced this week.
Smith was thanked by councillors this week for her dedication to
the role over many years.
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I have very much enjoyed my 15 years
as Clerk to Berrow Parish Council but feel now is the time to move
on to pastures new."

of our changing-rooms complex, the rebuild of the same complex after
the terrible fire in 2005, the installation of our wonderful play
area on the Village Green and the construction of our multi-use
games area adjacent to the Village Hall, to name but a few. I wish
the new Clerk all the best when they take over the position at the
end of August."
Kew, Berrow Parish Council Chairman, thanked her, saying: "The
Councillors are all very sorry that she has made this decision and
wish her well in her future career."
