in the skies across the Burnham-On-Sea area.

41 years of operation there will be a farewell flypast today.

10.30am and then leave shortly afterwards for Devonport, flying
over thr Bristol Channel near to Burnham en route southwards.
Lynx MK8 will set off from RNAS Yeovilton on a farewell tour before
it goes out of service on March 31st.
Lynx MK8 helicopters will travel around the South West on two separate
journeys today, one this morning and one in the afternoon.
Lynx is being replaced by the new Agusta Westland AW159 Wildcat
